MVP Senior Bowl
High school Seniors who are not signed will have another chance to showcase their talent at the 2009-2010 MVP Senior Bowl to be played at Memorial Stadium in Asheville, NC on January 2, 2010 at 12:30 pm. Players will be selected by the lottery system with two or three players selected from each school district. Players and coaches will check-in at the Blue Ridge Assemby in Black Mountain, NC by noon on the Thursday before the game and will participate in six practices before Saturday's game. A banquet will be held on Friday night. Players will get to keep their uniform (jersey and pants) and will also receive an MVP shirt, and certificate of participation. Cost is $170 and includes accommodations, meals, uniform, insurance and game film. Players need to have their own practice jerseys, shoulder pads, helmet, hip, thigh and knee pads, girdle, cleats sweat paints, sneakers and mouthpiece. If you have no equipment, we will have it for you. This is an unsanctioned event. If you are coming from Knoxville you will take the Newport exit. It will take you to 26 south to 240 east to 40 east to Black Mt .Take the Black Mt exit,go right, go a mile, Blue Ridge is on left.If you coming from Va get on 26 south it will take you to 240 east to 40 east to the Black MT exit, which is exit 9 or 29 turn right,go a mile Blue ridge is on left.

Team Carolina Coaches Bernardo Harris, Head Coach - Coach Harris played at UNC as a Linebacker and with the Green Bay Packers team that won a Super Bowl in the 90's. He finished his playing career with the Baltimore Ravens and began his coaching career as a Linebacker coach in the NFL Europe organization.
Phillip Crosby, Running Back Coach - Coach Crosby played at University of Tennessee where he won two SEC Championships and the BCS National Championship. He played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills, San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots.
Randy Baynard-Coach Baynard has coached at the high school and college level.
Josh Holt - Coach Holt played college football in Virgina and is now coaching in high school.

Team Virginia and Tennessee Coaches Robert Ford, Head Coach - Coach Ford coached in three Super Bowls for the Dallas Cowboys. He has worked with the NFL Europe Organization as well as the All American Football League.
Brian Knight, Linebacker Coach - Coach Knight played at the University of Pittsburgh and in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and Carolina Panthers.
Alex Robbins - Coach Robbins has over 35 years of coaching in college. His last job was the offensive coordinator at Middle Tennessee State for 25 years. He is now retired.
Todd Page - Coach Page won the national championship as an independent head high school coach.
Joe Johnson-Coach Johnson is the head coach at Pikeville College. He also has been a coordinator and head coach at four other colleges.
